Welcome to WarpaintVault, a platform for sharing wargame miniature paintings and paint schemes. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WarpaintVault ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. User Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You may authenticate using email/password, Google, or Discord.
3. Artist Content & Intellectual Property
Artists retain full ownership of all paintings, images, and paint schemes they upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant WarpaintVault a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform. You represent that you own or have the right to share any content you upload. You may not upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Artists may offer monthly subscriptions for access to premium paint schemes. Subscriptions are recurring and billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. The Platform takes a 20% commission on subscription revenue. All payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store your credit card information.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: upload content you do not own or have rights to; engage in hate speech, harassment, or discrimination; spam or use automated means to access the Platform; attempt to bypass paywalls or access premium content without authorization; impersonate other users or artists; use the Platform for illegal purposes; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Content you have uploaded may be retained for a reasonable period for legal compliance.
7. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for the accuracy or quality of content uploaded by artists.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WarpaintVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or profits, arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
